International Appoints Sebastian Leger as Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer

Lisle, Illinois - March 10, 2026 - International announced that Sebastian Leger has been appointed senior vice president and chief procurement officer, effective April 1, 2026.

About International's procurement organization

In this role, Leger will lead the company's global Procurement organization and report directly to Mathias Carlbaum, President and CEO. Leger will be responsible for procurement strategy and operations, supplier partnerships and alignment with TRATON Group.

This appointment supports International's continued focus on delivering meaningful solutions to their customers.

About International's newly appointed SVP and chief procurement officer

Sebastian Leger brings more than 20 years of experience in automotive procurement and supply management. Before joining International, he:

  • Served as senior vice president (SVP), Strategy and Procurement Excellence at MAN Truck & Bus SE, where he led strategic procurement initiatives and group-wide excellence programs.
  • Held successive senior leadership roles at MAN Truck & Bus, including SVP Purchasing Cabin, Electronics and Product Cost Optimization, SVP Purchasing Bus, and VP roles overseeing major purchasing categories.
  • Started his procurement leadership career at Daimler AG, where he served as team lead for Interior Purchasing.
