City of Syracuse to Host Pride & Prosperity Summit for LGBTQ+

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The City of Syracuse will host its first Pride and Prosperity Summit on Friday, October 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the INSPYRE Innovation Hub by CenterState CEO (235 Harrisson St, Syracuse, NY 13202). The free, daylong summit will bring together entrepreneurs, community leaders, job seekers, business professionals, and organizations for panel discussions, presentations, workshops and networking focused on professional development and business growth.
Attendees will have opportunities to learn about:
  • Building your networking and personal finance skills,
  • Running a successful local business as an LGBTQ+ person,
  • Navigating existing resources, including business certifications, to make starting or growing your business easier,
  • Advancing LGBTQ+ community and economic prosperity by transforming public spaces into thriving shared spaces and much more.
Whether participants are navigating the workforce, starting a business, growing an existing company, seeking employment or looking to expand their professional network, the summit will offer information and connections designed to support economic development within Syracuse's LGBTQ+ community.

"The Pride and Prosperity summit creates an inclusive space for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and professionals to learn, connect and access new opportunities," said Brianca Hill, Deputy Commissioner of Business and Development.

Professional headshot will be provided for the event attendees as well.
To attend, registration is required as space are limited to 100 spots and must be completed by October 5. Attendees can register and find out more details about the event by visiting syr.gov/Pride-Prosperity.
