SR1/US27 Hamilton Rd. Widening

WHAT: A traffic shift will be initiated on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Traffic will be placed into the newly paved section of the widening project, beginning at approximately MP 14.8, between Lukken Industrial and Auburn Ave., and shifting back onto the original alignment at approximately MP 15.98, in the vicinity of Union St/Fannin St. The shift will allow phase 2B of the project to begin, which will include the construction of two more travel lanes and a median. As with any construction, the date of the shift could change due to field conditions and/or weather.

WHEN: Starting Wednesday June 17, 2026, at approximately 11:00am

WHERE: SR1/US27, MP14.8 to MP15.98

Advisory: Dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
