Bettendorf Community Band to Kick Off 58th Season with Free Concert October 21, 2025 - A musical escape awaits… and it won't cost you a penny!On Friday, October 24 at 7 p.m., the Bettendorf Community Band - a partner of the Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department and endorsed by the City of Bettendorf - is holding its Fall Concert at the Galvin Fine Arts Center, located on the campus of St. Ambrose University (2101 Gaines Street, Davenport). This free event includes 50 musicians performing a variety of songs ranging from Sousa marches, Broadway, and even cinematic music. "We are excited to begin the band's 58th Season with such a diverse selection of music," said Thomas Knowles, Music Director. "Our goal is to celebrate and engage our community through a concert that spans a wide array of musical genres.
