FirstHealth Primary Care-Tramway Welcomes Family Medicine Physician

SANFORD, N.C. - FirstHealth Primary Care-Tramway is pleased to welcome Sarah Kaiser, D.O., a family medicine physician dedicated to providing compassionate, whole-person care for patients 13 years and older.

Originally from Coats, N.C., Kaiser is excited to return to her home state to care for patients and serve the communities that shaped her.

"I knew when I finished my training that I wanted to come back to North Carolina to be close to family and give back to my community," she said.

Kaiser's passion for medicine began at an early age while caring for her grandmother, who faced multiple chronic health conditions. Witnessing those challenges inspired her to pursue a career focused on helping others. Coming from a family of health care professionals, including parents who are pharmacists and an uncle who is a pediatrician, she found medicine to be a natural calling.

Kaiser earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Campbell University JM Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lillington, N.C., and completed her family medicine residency at McLeod Family Medicine Center in Florence, S.C.

A Whole-Person Approach to Family Medicine

As an osteopathic family medicine physician, Kaiser believes exceptional care extends beyond treating illness.

"My philosophy is to treat the whole person, including their mind, body and spirit," she said. "That approach has been at the heart of my training and continues to guide the way I care for my patients."

Comprehensive Primary Care for Every Stage of Life

Her clinical interests include women's health, geriatric care and performing in-office procedures, allowing her to provide comprehensive care for patients throughout every stage of life.

Kaiser said FirstHealth stood out as an ideal place to begin this next chapter because of their commitment to patients and the communities they serve.

"FirstHealth was an easy decision," she said. "It offered the location I was looking for, a friendly environment and a mission focused on serving the local community."

Outside of caring for patients, Kaiser enjoys spending time outdoors, visiting the beach and making time to connect with family and friends.
