Pueblo Police Investigate Twelfth Homicide in 2025

PUEBLO POLICE INVESTIGATE TWELFTH HOMICIDE IN 2025

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: November 1, 2025

Pueblo, CO- On November 1, 2025, at approximately 02:49 AM, dispatch received a Shot Spotter call at the 1100 block of W. 13th St for 27 rounds that were detected. During that time, dispatch also received calls for service stating two people had been shot.

As Pueblo Police Department officers investigated the scene, both victims were transported to a local hospital. At approximately 10:20 AM, one of the victims succumbed to their injuries. The Coroner's Office will release the victim's identity after the appropriate notifications have been made. The other victim is in stable condition at this time.

Detectives from the Non-Fatal Shot Team initially responded to investigate the incident. Since the initial investigation began, detectives with the Crimes Against Persons and Crime Scene Investigations Sections have joined in to assist with the investigation.

Detectives have not yet identified a suspect. The circumstances of the shooting are being investigated. The investigation thus far has determined this is a targeted incident and there is no danger to the public.

This marks the City of Pueblo's 12th Homicide of 2025; there were 17 homicides year-to-date in 2024.
