Calling on Mission Viejo students to earn a prize, community service and more through fun Safe Schools Challenge

As part of the 38th Annual Walk Against Drugs on Saturday, October 17, the City and Mission Viejo Police Services are rolling out another the Safe Schools Challenge.

This unique contest gives Mission Viejo students the opportunity to get creative while promoting safety and making a positive impact in their community. Students are invited to create a 30-second (or less) public service announcement (PSA) video focused on public safety. (See this past winning video as an example.)

The videos will be shared on social media, where they will be viewed and voted on by the public and City of Mission Viejo staff. Entries will also be evaluated using scoring rubric, and the videos receiving the highest overall scores will win a pizza party for their class.

So, grab your classmates, get creative, and show us how you can make a difference through the Safe Schools Challenge today.
