Senate Unanimously Passes Langerholc Bill to Support Law Enforcement

HARRISBURG - The Senate unanimously approved legislation sponsored by Sen. Wayne Langerholc, Jr. (R-35) to provide current and retired law enforcement with discounted hunting and fishing licenses.

Under Senate Bill 469, law enforcement officials would be able to acquire each license for $1.

"This legislation is a small but meaningful token of appreciation for the unwavering dedication and service of the current and retired men and women of our law enforcement community," said Langerholc. "Day after day, they face demanding and often dangerous situations to keep our communities safe, and this measure formally recognizes the commitment they have shown throughout their careers."

The measure now goes to the House of Representatives for consideration.
