The Savings Bank Appoints George Nugent as Senior Vice President of Marketing

Wakefield, MA - The Savings Bank proudly welcomes George Nugent as its new senior vice president of marketing, bringing over 20 years of expertise in strategic communications, brand leadership, and customer engagement.

Nugent will lead the Bank's marketing department, overseeing efforts to strengthen the market position, deepen customer relationships, and drive sustainable growth across all lines of business.

Most recently, Nugent served as Vice President, Marketing Manager at Enterprise Bank, where he developed and executed bank-wide marketing strategies to support sales, customer acquisition, and brand visibility. He played a key role in growing awareness for both the bank and its wealth management division while leading a high-performing marketing team.

Prior to Enterprise Bank, Nugent held leadership positions in healthcare and nonprofit sectors.

Nugent is a graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications Arts and completed the Core Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership atTufts University's Tisch College of Civic Life.

He is active in local community organizations, currently serving on the board of the Center for Hope and Healing and on the Grants Committee for the Greater Lowell Community Foundation.
