Future Drops Surprise 'Ya Hit' With Drake, Travis Scott, Loe Shimmy

Future has surprised fans with a new single titled "Ya Hit," featuring Drake, Travis Scott, and Loe Shimmy. The track, which dropped on Friday (November 6), marks the first collaboration between the trio, despite their extensive collaborative histories. The song, produced by ATL Jacob, also includes ad-libs from Sexyy Red, as reported by Billboard.

The release of "Ya Hit" seems to signal that any rumored tension between the artists, stemming from a 2024 conflict involving Drake and Kendrick Lamar, has been resolved. XXL Magazine notes that Future and Drake previously reunited on the track "Ran to Atlanta" earlier this year.

Loe Shimmy leads the chorus on "Ya Hit," while Future delivers verses that include lines about moving on from a past relationship. Drake's verse features a jab at a rival's album sales, and Travis Scott references the upcoming release of 'Grand Theft Auto 6,' which is set to launch on November 19.

The collaboration was teased by Future earlier this week, but the inclusion of Drake and Scott was kept under wraps until the song's release. According to Rolling Stone, the single is Future's first release since his album The Real Me in August, and it hints at his upcoming project, Infinity.

Fans recently spotted the artists together at a Houston strip club, reportedly filming a music video for the track. Future's surprise release coincides with the release of Lil Baby's new album, Fresh, which Future supported by sharing on his Instagram story.
