LPD Investigates Fatality Crash | 84th & O Streets

On Friday, October 16, at 10:05 p.m., officers with the Lincoln Police Department and emergency personnel were dispatched to the intersection of 84th and O streets on a report of a two vehicle crash.
The preliminary investigation has shown that a sedan, heading westbound on O Street was preparing to turn left to go south at 84th St. While making its turn, the sedan was struck by a truck that was heading eastbound on O Street through the intersection. A passenger in the sedan, a 17-year-old Lincoln resident, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the sedan was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the truck was uninjured.
