Congresswoman Hageman Votes for Final FY26 Appropriations Bills

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Harriet Hageman (R-WY) voted in favor of H.R. 7148, the Consolidated Appropriations Act. With House passage of these bills, the House of Representatives has now completed all 12 annual appropriations bills for Fiscal Year 2026 ahead of the January 30 funding deadline.

"These bills show what responsible governance looks like when Washington focuses on results," said Rep. Hageman. "Thanks to President Trump's secure border, we cut billions in wasteful Biden-era border crisis programs and defunded the NGOs who helped carry out this invasion. This legislation also completes every Community Project Funding request I submitted for Wyoming, strengthens highway safety through English Language Proficiency enforcement, and ensures our rural communities and workforce get the support they need."

Notable wins in these bills include:

  • Includes Rep. Hageman's final Community Project Funding request of $2 million for the City of Rock Springs' Bitter Creek Restoration Project.
  • Requires the Department of Transportation to update regulations so lack of English Language Proficiency triggers an out-of-service order for commercial drivers, implementing a version of Connor's Law.
  • Cuts $1.8 billion from Customs and Border Protection programs that went to NGOs that existed solely to facilitate the Biden border crisis, including $1.7 billion for soft-sided processing facilities and $650 million for migrant transport.
  • Allocates $513 million to sustain funding for 22,000 Border Patrol agents and increases ICE funding by $371 million.
  • Repeals the recently passed Arctic Frost provisions, allowing Senators to sue the DOJ for $500,000 or more in damages.
