The City of Centennial is inviting the community to celebrate a milestone year with the announcement of its 2026 Signature Event lineup - a season of community traditions, live entertainment, arts, culture and hometown fun commemorating Centennial's 25th anniversary.
The celebration begins with the City's newest signature event, Celebrate Centennial, on Saturday, June 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Centennial Center Park. This FREE community celebration will honor 25 years of Centennial with live performances, family-friendly activities, Touch-a-Truck exhibits, local vendors, food trucks, interactive experiences and opportunities for residents to connect with neighbors while celebrating the community's past, present and future.
"Centennial's 25th anniversary is more than a milestone - it's a celebration of the people, neighborhoods, businesses and community spirit that have shaped our City over the last quarter century," said Mayor Christine Sweetland. "This year's Signature Events lineup reflects the energy and connection that make Centennial such a special place to call home. We look forward to celebrating with residents all year long."
Celebrate Centennial will feature cultural and musical performances throughout the day, a Kids' Zone with a bubble tower and interactive activities, community partner exhibits, live broadcasts from Centennial-based K4CO Radio and more. The event is designed to bring together residents of all ages for a day of shared community pride and celebration.
In addition to Celebrate Centennial, the City's 2026 Signature Event lineup includes returning community favorites throughout the summer and fall season-Save the dates!

Centennial is turning 25 and we're celebrating in a big way! We've planned a lively day of FREE fun, family activities, and hometown pride at Centennial Center Park. Entertainment includes cultural and music performances, a Kids' Zone and Touch-A-Truck exhibit, community vendors, local food trucks, and so much more!

Saturday, August 8 | 5 - 9 p.m. Centennial Center Park
Join us for the 20th Annual Centennial Under the Stars - a community favorite over two decades strong! Featuring live music from Lies and Lullabies and headliner Wash Park Band, this event is a perfect blend of summer with the late afternoon sun and the evening stars, swaying to the sounds of dance worthy live music and enjoying tasty local fare.

Saturday, August 22 | 5 - 7:30 p.m. Centennial Center Park
Symphony of the Rockies is back for its third year to perform musical scores from family-friendly movies we all know and love. Bring your picnic dinner, blankets, chairs, and the whole family and dive into an auditory adventure with "Cinematic Symphony." Iconic movie scores will come to life in a concert style designed for film enthusiasts of all ages.

Saturday, September 12 | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The Streets at SouthGlenn
Get ready for a burst of color and creativity! Come early and celebrate creativity at Centennial's annual Chalk Art Festival at The Streets at SouthGlenn! Watch local artists transform sidewalks into colorful masterpieces, enjoy live music, visit the Children's Market, shop local vendors and grab a bite to eat. Vote for your favorite chalk art too!

Saturday, October 17 | 1 - 5 p.m. Centennial Center Park
Drink, eat and enjoy live music at Sip in Centennial! This event offers diverse tastings from local breweries and distilleries. Join us for a fall afternoon filled with live music and tasty food truck bites while sampling adult beverages. All ages are welcome, must be 21+ to purchase a tasting card and partake in alcohol consumption.
