Mackenzie Cremeans and Maria Vishnevskiy to Speak at Midwest Environmental Compliance Conference

Mackenzie Cremeans, PhD, PG, and Maria Vishnevskiy, PE, will speak at the Midwest Environmental Compliance Conference (MECC) on September 22 through 23, 2026, in Overland Park, Kansas.

Mackenzie will present "Beneath the Cloud: Water's Role in Data Center Development," and Maria will present "Considerations for Superfund and Brownfields Site Development for Data Centers."

Mackenzie is a Senior Hydrogeologist based in Kansas who focuses on site characterization and remediation, data management, and environmental forensics for metals, chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls, and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

Maria is a Senior Engineer based in Kansas with more than 10 years of experience focused on engineering design for remediation, flow and transport modeling, data management, site investigation and characterization, and emerging contaminants.

MECC is an annual regional conference that brings together industry professionals, regulators, and environmental experts to discuss environmental compliance, permitting, enforcement, and emerging regulatory issues affecting facilities and organizations across the Midwest.
