Turnstone Development Brings 42 New Affordable Homes to Seniors Age 55+ in Hillside, IL

NEF is proud to support the development of Hillside Senior Apartments, a new 42-unit affordable housing community for seniors 55 and older in Hillside, IL.

The five-story, fully accessible development provides 34 one-bedroom and 8 two-bedroom homes, offering seniors quality, affordable housing in a community designed with their needs in mind. The development serves households at a range of income levels, with 7 units at 30% of Area Median Income (AMI), 16 units at 50% AMI, and 19 units at 60% AMI.

Residents have access to a variety of amenities, including a community room with a kitchen, outdoor terrace, tenant lounge with internet access, exercise room, central laundry, and indoor bicycle storage. New sidewalk connections to the Village infrastructure encourage pedestrian connectivity with the surrounding neighborhood.
