Rapidly-Rising Artist Stella Lefty Says Her Debut Era Is 'A Labor Of Love'

Stella Lefty marked a significant milestone in her career as the viral "Boston" artist delivered her debut album on Friday (August 21).

Lefty's Long Way Home dawns a fresh chapter for the Glencoe, Illinois-born singer. The iHeartCountry On The Verge Artist, 24, showcases Lefty's emotional, deeply honest storytelling in her lyrics and her unique, raspy vocals. The album features breakout single "Thinking 'bout You," "Boston," a duet with boyfriend and fellow country artist Vincent Mason, her single from the Scream 7 soundtrack ("The Kill"), and more on the 14-track project.

  1. Lean In, Kiss Me
  2. Whiskey
  3. Thinking 'bout You
  4. Ain't Something I Do
  5. Boston
  6. Missing You
  7. I Know I Know

  10. Something To Lose, with Vincent Mason

Long Way Home follows Lefty's first-ever EP, Tragic, Really, and Is This Heaven?, which arrived earlier this year. The rapidly-rising artist has blended her pop influences with the classic storytelling of country music, evolving in her own style with inspiration from Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and other artists. Lefty shared on a recent episode of The BobbyCast that she's embracing a new wave of success after overcoming "huge stage fright," earlier in her life (and the "bold DM" that led to her firs songwriting session in Nashville, Tennessee). Lefty has recently brought her music to the Country Music Association's CMA Fest and other music festivals, plus shows on tour with Jessie Murph, Cameron Whitcomb, Wyatt Flores and others. Next, she's hitting the road with "Brunette" artist Tucker Wetmore.

Lefty said on Friday that she's "so incredibly proud of these songs and I'm so beyond grateful to all my friends who helped make it all possible!!! I wont get all sappy on you but I feel blessed to have met you [Grace Enger] you are my soulmate in friendship and somehow also my soulmate in songwriting. And [Joe Reeves] thank you for being amazing and trusting me even in moments where u think I'm crazy (: couldn't have gotten luckier with the two of you," she wrote in a caption on Instagram. "I hope you all love this album as much as I do. These songs are all a labor of love and many many late nights making sure these songs sound exactly how they do. Give it a listen I love youuuuuu]"
