Ladysmith Black Mambazo, formed by Joseph Shabalala, is a Grammy-winning South African male choral group performing in traditional isicathamiya and mbube vocal styles. Richardson's annual Trash Bash event returns. Attendees can do things like properly dispose of used cooking oil and kitchen grease, pick up a free preparedness bag, donate items to Network of Community Ministries and donate used eyeglasses.
Note: The electronics recycling and document shredding event will not be held on Trash Bash Day. Instead, it will take place on Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at The Heights Church, 201 E. Renner Road.
