NW 15th Avenue Roadway Improvements
The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with FG Construction to enhance safety and mobility on NW 15th Avenue from West Sunrise Boulevard to Mills Pond Park. The project scope includes but is not limited to:
- Crosswalks
- ADA improvements
- Roadway drainage improvements
- Concrete sidewalks
- Roadway signs and pavement markings
- Street lighting and landscaping
Construction is expected to begin the week of September 22, 2025, and be completed by mid-August 2026. Work will take place Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen conditions.
Traffic impacts:
• There will be partial closures on NW 15th Avenue with sections closing in phases as work progresses.
• Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
