'Pet of the Week'
To spread the word about animal adoption and to help these loving animals find fur-ever homes, the City of Lewisville will feature a Pet of the Week each week in this media packet, available for adoption at the Gene Carey Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, 995 E. Valley Ridge.
This week's featured pet is Gumby, a 1-year-old male Pit Bull mix. This youngster loves to play. Being a puppy, he has a lot of energy, is very active, and has a cute face too. He gets along with other dogs, and kids, especially those that match his energy level. He is vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, had flea treatment applied, and sterilized.
To see all available animals, visit the "Adoptable Pets" page at cityoflewisville.com. Animals are adopted from the Gene Carey Animal Shelter and Adoption Center on a first come, first served basis.
