PORT OF LOS ANGELES CONTAINER SHIP FIRE SUBSTANTIALLY CONTAINED

Nov. 22, 2025 - Container ship ONE Henry Hudson has been towed out to anchorage outside of the breakwater.
The fire onboard has been substantially contained. Fire crews and ship crew members are continuing fire suppression efforts.
Unified Command members include Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), Long Beach Fire Department (LBFD), U.S. Coast Guard, Los Angeles Port Police, and Los Angeles Police Department.
Shelter-in-place orders and work restrictions for Port of Los Angeles terminals have been lifted. Port operations have resumed this morning. State Route 47 is open and traffic is normal.
