Washburn University Harmony J. Hines School of Nursing Students Inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing

Topeka, Kan. - Washburn University's Harmony J. Hines School of Nursing graduating seniors joined peers from Baker University School of Nursing and Emporia State University's nursing program as the newest inductees into the Eta Kappa Chapter-at-Large of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma). The ceremony took place April 20 at Stormont Vail Health.

"Induction into Sigma is a recognition of academic excellence and an affirmation of a nurse's commitment to leadership, service and the lifelong advancement of the profession. By welcoming these outstanding students and nurse leaders, we strengthen a global community dedicated to transforming healthcare through evidence-based practice, scholarship and a shared vision for a healthier world. We are incredibly proud to celebrate their achievements and the vital role they will play in the future of nursing," said Dr. Lara Rivera, professor and Sigma Theta Tau counselor, Washburn University Harmony Hines School of Nursing.
