City of Miami Chairwoman and District 5 Commissioner Christine King, Miami-Dade County District 3 Commissioner Keon Hardemon, and the Martin Luther King Economic Development Corporation (MLKEDC) are pleased to invite the public to the Annual MLK Community Breakfast on Monday, January 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The celebration of MLK's life, legacy, and achievements will include community engagement discussions and the sharing of information about MLKEDC's more than 50 years of dedicated service to the community.

"Service is at the heart of Dr. King's legacy, and our hearts are certainly focused on service today as we honor and celebrate his life at this community breakfast," said Chairwoman King.

"Dr. King has shown us that real progress is made through commitment, courage, and service. As we commemorate Dr. King through this breakfast, let us reflect on his impact and continue to honor his legacy," said Miami-Dade County District 3 Commissioner Keon Hardemon.

"The annual MLKEDC Community Breakfast brings our community together in fellowship to honor the life and enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and it is our privilege to serve and feed our community in that spirit," said Amina M. McNeil, President and CEO of the Martin Luther King Economic Development Corporation.
