Washington, DC, Sept. 10, 2025 - Students from Alpha Eta Rho (AHP), the nation's oldest active collegiate aviation fraternity, are set to land in Las Vegas for an unforgettable experience at the 2025 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), taking place Oct. 14-16.
From education sessions to networking events and more, Alpha Eta Rho members will get a glimpse into the opportunities available to them in the business aviation industry.
"We are pleased to once again welcome members of Alpha Eta Rho to NBAA-BACE," said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. "Their presence reflects the next generation of aviation professionals, and we are proud to support their exploration of careers in business aviation."
One of the main events for AHP members to take part in will be NBAA-BACE Collegiate Connect on Oct. 16. Following welcome remarks by Bolen and other NBAA leaders, Collegiate Connect will feature sessions on navigating a career in business aviation from industry professionals, a networking tour of exhibitors and a visit to the NBAA-BACE Career Zone.
Alpha Eta Rho also will have its own exhibit booth, near the Career Zone, which will give students direct access to industry leaders and recruiters.
In addition, AHP students will have VIP seating at the Oct. 14 Keynote, which features a discussion with multiplatinum artist, accomplished pilot and aviation champion Dierks Bentely. They also can attend a Young Professionals Reception on Oct. 14 and an AHP student/alumni meetup on Oct. 15.
"Participating in NBAA-BACE 2025 places our members at the center of business aviation, providing exclusive networking, career advancement and insight into industry innovations," said fraternity CEO Ben O'Brien. "Alpha Eta Rho's partnership with NBAA gives students access to unparalleled opportunities, connections and real-world knowledge - empowering our future aviation leaders to thrive. This event is an essential step in turning passion for aviation into impactful careers.
"Participation at NBAA-BACE opens doors to scholarships, mentoring and exposure to real-world business aviation challenges and innovations," O'Brien added, noting that Alpha Eta Rho students will have access to NBAA-BACE free of charge.
Kristi Ivey, CAM, NBAA regional director and the association's liaison to AHP, encouraged fraternity members to hone their networking skills: introduce themselves with eye contact and a firm handshake, get the names of people they meet and send thank-you messages and connect with them on LinkedIn.
"Our industry wants the students there," she said. "It's really a great partnership of give and give."
Taking place Oct. 14-16, NBAA-BACE is the world's most powerful business aviation event of the year, showcasing the industry's latest innovations and services, and hosting the leaders who are shaping its future. Learn more about NBAA-BACE.
