Meeting with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia

On 25 September 2026, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, met with Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Member of the Council of Ministers, and Saudi Arabia's Climate Envoy.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the strengthening of political dialogue, the development of trade and economic relations, cooperation in the areas of water resources and climate, as well as cooperation between the two countries within international organizations and other issues of mutual interest.

Particular attention was paid to water resources and climate issues, with both sides emphasizing the importance of further strengthening cooperation in these areas.
