Volodymyr Zelenskyy and António Costa Discussed the Unblocking of the €90 Billion EU Financial Support Package

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with President of the European Council António Costa.

They discussed the unblocking of the €90 billion EU financial support package. The Head of State emphasized that Ukraine has delivered on what was requested by the European Union.

António Costa separately noted Ukraine's security agreements with countries in the Middle East and the Gulf region. Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that the system for protecting lives, which Ukraine is offering to partners in the Drone Deal format, is truly unique, and cooperation with certain European states has already begun. The two Presidents agreed to continue this discussion during their upcoming in-person meeting.
