TUSCALOOSA, Ala., Sept. 9, 2026 - Pinnacle Financial Partners has selected Wade Dailey as regional president for West Alabama, effective Aug. 31.
Dailey joins Pinnacle with 22 years of banking leadership experience in Tuscaloosa and will lead Pinnacle's growth in West Alabama, working with a team of financial professionals to serve businesses, families and the community through a relationship-driven approach and local decision making.
"Wade has built his career in Tuscaloosa, and people here know him as someone who listens first, gives thoughtful guidance and stays close to his clients," said Chris Abele, Pinnacle's state leader for Alabama. "He is a proven local leader whose experience and relationships will help clients make financial decisions with confidence. Wade brings the kind of practical expertise and local knowledge that will serve clients well across Tuscaloosa and West Alabama."
Prior to joining Pinnacle, Dailey served as senior vice president at Regions Bank, and his career has also included leadership roles with Renasant Bank and Wells Fargo. Dailey earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Samford University. He serves on the board of directors for The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama.
"Tuscaloosa is my home, and I've been fortunate to build my career alongside people and businesses that are deeply invested in this community," Dailey said. "Pinnacle stands out because of the strength of the team, the way the firm supports team members and its commitment to taking exceptional care of clients. This role means a great deal to me because it gives me the opportunity to keep serving West Alabama with people who care about doing the right thing and helping clients reach their goals."
Pinnacle continues to grow in Tuscaloosa, following its merger with Synovus earlier this year. The firm maintains its focus on recruiting proven local leaders who understand client needs and can strengthen the firm's presence in the region.
Blake Thrasher, who has led the Tuscaloosa market since 2024, will continue leading the firm's commercial banking efforts in the region as the Tuscaloosa market president. The Tuscaloosa team also recently added Chris Cerrina as financial advisor and Katie Chambers as mortgage advisor.
Cerrina joins Pinnacle with more than 35 years of experience in financial services, commercial banking, relationship management and operations. He joins the firm from JPMorgan Chase where he led regional commercial growth for luxury automotive brands. Cerrina also spent 20 years as owner, operator and president of a franchised automobile dealership. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Chambers brings 24 years of financial services experience, including more than a decade in mortgage lending with Huntington Bank, formerly Cadence Bank. Throughout her career, she has built expertise in home financing guidance and mortgage solutions, including construction lending and physician lending. Chambers earned a bachelor's degree in finance from The University of Alabama
Synovus, now Pinnacle, opened its first Tuscaloosa office more than 40 years ago. Now as a combined company, the firm continues to invest in local talent, giving financial professionals the tools, autonomy and support to deliver practical advice and personal service to clients across West Alabama.
