The Division for Student Affairs' Office of Military and Veteran Services welcomed the George Washington University community for an annual celebration honoring veterans on Nov. 11 in the University Student Center's Continental Ballroom.
The ceremony and luncheon featured an address fromEric Chastain, Ret. Command Sgt. Major and first senior enlisted advisor to the White House Military Office, Pat Tillman Scholar, adjunct professor at the USC-DC, and GW College of Professional Studies student. Chastain reflected on what service means to him as a veteran.
Throughout the week of Veterans Day, GW continues its commitment to service members and their families with a variety of events showing appreciation for military-affiliated affiliated community members.
