Want to create a Canvas course site that is intuitive, organized and supports student success? The Center for Teaching and Learning and Learning Technology Solutions have partnered to offer Canvas reviews for in-person courses. This personalized, formative review offers evidence-based feedback to help improve Canvas course site organization, navigation, usability and overall student experience.

What it entails

• Practical recommendations to improve course navigation and usability.
• Evidence-based Canvas design strategies informed by best practices and Boise State student feedback.
• A one-on-one consultation with a CTL or LTS consultant to discuss the course site and identify opportunities for improvement.

How it works

1. Complete the Canvas Course Review request form.
2. A CTL or LTS consultant will review the Canvas course site using a best-practice rubric.
3. Meet individually with the consultant to discuss personalized feedback and develop an action plan for enhancing the course site.

Whether it's refreshing an existing course or preparing for the upcoming semester, this review is a great opportunity to make Canvas sites more organized, usable and student-friendly.
