PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP TO HEADLINE 2026 PENNSYLVANIA DEFENSE AND INNOVATION SUMMIT AT U.S. ARMY WAR COLLEGE

Two-Day Summit Will Convene the Nation's Top Defense, Technology, Finance and Government Leaders Driving the Next Era of Defense Innovation and Investment

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Dave McCormick (R-PA) today announced that President Donald J. Trump will headline the 2026 Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, on July 14 - 15, 2026.

This landmark two-day summit will be the first ever to convene the nation's most influential leaders in defense, technology, finance and government under one roof to advance President Trump's commitment to Peace through Strength and seize on this generational opportunity for Pennsylvania to contribute and strengthen our national defense, made possible by President Trump's historic $1.5 trillion defense budget. On July 15, President Trump will deliver remarks and unveil investments and partnerships in defense innovation that will create great-paying jobs for Americans across Pennsylvania and the country.

"Last July, the President came to Pennsylvania and together we announced more than $90 billion in investments to strengthen America's energy dominance and AI leadership. This July, I look forward to welcoming President Trump back to build on this momentum with a focus on strengthening and advancing our national defense," said Senator Dave McCormick. "The Commonwealth stands ready to lead and deliver the innovation, manufacturing, and skilled workforce necessary to advance the President's vision and strengthen our military edge."

During the Summit, attendees will hear from our nation's most prominent national security and military leaders including top Cabinet officials. Business and finance leaders also joining the conversation include JPMorgan's Jamie Dimon, Blackstone President Jon Gray, Lockheed Martin CEO Jim Taiclet, General Dynamics CEO Phebe Novakovic, Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg, SpaceX director Antonio Gracias, and Palantir CTO Shyam Sankar.

Day One will spotlight Pennsylvania's defense industrial base, convening defense and industrial leaders, technologists, investors, procurement officials, and senior government officials for high-impact panels and working sessions designed to expand Pennsylvania's defense production and innovation. Day Two, headlined by President Trump, will deliver investment announcements and partnerships showcasing Pennsylvania's continued leadership in strengthening and supporting America's national defense.

The Summit marks the one-year anniversary of Senator McCormick's 2025 Energy and Innovation Summit, which President Trump headlined in Pittsburgh. At that historic event, the President announced more than $92 billion in private-sector investment commitments to the Commonwealth to lock in American Energy Dominance. This commitment represented the largest single-day investment announcement in Pennsylvania's history.
