Henderson Receives Kia Pet Adoption Grant to Offer Free Adoptions in November
Grant Will Make a Difference in Helping Adoptable Animals Find Fur-Ever Homes
HENDERSON, Nev.(Oct. 29, 2025) - The City of Henderson is excited to announce that it has been awarded the Kia Pet Adoption Grant by the Pet Finder Foundation. This $2,000 grant will support ongoing efforts to help adoptable animals find loving forever homes.
Thanks to this generous support, Henderson Animal Protection Services will offer FREE cat and dog adoptions on these dates:
- Friday, Nov. 7
- Saturday, Nov. 8
- Monday, Nov. 10
If you're looking for a furry companion, this is your chance! There are many four-legged friends of all sizes available for adoption. All adoptions and foster placements are done in person, on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicant screening is required.
Visit Henderson Animal Protection Services located at 300. E. Galleria Dr., Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Adoptions are finalized by 4:30 p.m. Animal Protection Services is closed on Sundays and government recognized holidays.
