Held a Large-Scale CYBERFINANCE-2026 Forum

A large-scale CYBERFINANCE-2026 forum was held at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov. The event was organized by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of realization of the strategy to enhance the cyber resilience of the country's financial sector and minimize the risks of digital fraud.

During the meeting, which brought together more than 130 participants, current challenges in the context of rapid digitalization were discussed, including countering social engineering and phishing, as well as protecting the public's savings. The regulator's strategic response to these risks was the creation of a platform for collaboration between the National Bank, commercial banks, the IT sector, and relevant universities in the Republic.

The event's program was implemented in two tracks, covering both theoretical and practical aspects. At the cybersecurity forum, leading experts discussed the development of corporate incident monitoring systems, strengthening interagency cooperation, and protecting citizens from financial fraud. Team competitions among young professionals and students to counter real cyberattacks were also held in the cyber exercise zone. This hands-on format helped identify promising specialists to form the banking sector's talent pool.

As the event organizers noted, attracting young talent to the financial system's IT pool will accelerate the implementation of advanced technologies and ensure the security of digital payments for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.
