City of Palm Bay Announces Liberty Park Parking Lot Improvements

The City of Palm Bay would like to inform residents and park visitors that parking lot improvement work will be taking place at Liberty Park, located at 895 Carlyle Avenue SE, as part of a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded improvement project.

The project will include parking lot patchwork and sealcoating to help extend the life of the pavement and improve the overall condition of the facility for park users.

Project Schedule:

• Patchwork begins: Friday, June 12, 2026
• Parking lot sealing begins: Monday, June 15, 2026
• Project completion anticipated: Friday, June 19, 2026

During construction, patrons should expect temporary parking lot closures, restricted access to certain areas, and potential delays while work is underway. Visitors are encouraged to use caution when entering the park and to follow all posted signs, barricades, and directions from onsite personnel.

The city appreciates the public's patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed. These upgrades are part of ongoing efforts to enhance park facilities and improve the visitor experience for residents and guests.
