Rainbow Company Youth Theatre Presents Friday & Saturday Shows
Rainbow Company Youth Theatre, a city of Las Vegas program, presents "Disney's High School Musical" Sept. 25-26 and Oct. 2-3. All performances will be held at Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 Brush St. Showtimes are 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, with additional 1 p.m. shows Saturdays Sept. 26 and Oct. 3. This is the first production of the 50th season for Rainbow Company Youth Theatre. There are no age restrictions for the audience. Reserved-seat tickets, priced at $10 each, are available online here.
When star athlete Troy and shy science whiz Gabriella audition for the school musical, they inspire their classmates to embrace their talents and follow their dreams, proving that everyone deserves a chance to shine. Based on the hit Disney Channel movie, this crowd-pleasing musical is packed with memorable songs, high-energy choreography and plenty of heart.
Directed and choreographed by Andy Lott, with Tim Warren as musical director, the show features Luke Smith as Troy and Megan Valdecantos as Gabriella. Another 10 students round out the cast, with 10 more Ensemble members as production crew.
The core of the Rainbow Company Youth Theatre is its Ensemble of 38 dedicated students, ages 10 to 18, selected yearly by application and audition. The ensemble members work in all aspects of each production - costumes, makeup, sets, lights, sound and backstage crew - under the tutelage of professional directors and designers.
The Rainbow Company Youth Theatre is a nationally acclaimed, award-winning youth theatre group.
