L.A. Area Chamber Supports Proposition 50 to Safeguard California’s Economic Strength

LOS ANGELES, CA - September 12, 2025 - The Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Board voted to support Proposition 50, recognizing that California's economic strength relies on strong representation in Congress.

"As the nation's gateway to global trade and the world's fourth-largest economy, our businesses need stable, accountable, and competitive federal policies to thrive. Proposition 50 helps ensure California businesses are not disadvantaged in federal policy debates, safeguarding critical investments in housing, healthcare, transportation, and disaster relief," said Maria S. Salinas, President & CEO of the L.A. Area Chamber.
