Traffic Advisory: Florida AIDS Walk March 21
The 2026 Florida AIDS Walk & Music Festival will take place on Fort Lauderdale Beach at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park on Saturday, March 21. The walk is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. The concert is tentatively scheduled to begin at 11:35 a.m.
The following traffic advisory will be in effect.
From 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.:
- A1A and Birch Road will have partial lane closures but will remain operational.
- One northbound lane of A1A will be closed from Harbor Drive to Vistamar Street.
- One northbound lane of Birch Road will be closed from Sebastian Street to Vistamar Street.
From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.:
- Vistamar Street will be closed from Birch Road to A1A.
AIDS Walk Route
The starting line and finish line for the walk will be located in the Fort Lauderdale Beach Park parking lot. Walkers will head north on A1A to Sebastian Street and then west to Birch Road. Walkers will head north on Birch Road to Vistamar Street and then back east to A1A and return to the Fort Lauderdale Beach Park parking lot.
