Fossil Creek Trail Closed Between Trilby Road and Carpenter Road for Stream Rehabilitation

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The City of Fort Collins will close the Fossil Creek Trail between Trilby Road and Carpenter Road (State Highway 392) beginning Tuesday, Nov. 18 to accommodate ongoing stream rehabilitation along Stanton Creek between the Stanton Creek and Greenstone neighborhoods. The closure is expected to remain in place through March 31, 2026.

Trail users are encouraged to use sidewalks and alternative paths along Trilby Road, Lemay Avenue, and Carpenter Road to safely navigate around the closure. Signage will be posted to guide pedestrians and cyclists along the detour routes.
