Water Meter Testing
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (April 20, 2026) - The Utilities Department is testing water meters at homes and businesses across its service area to ensure accurate usage and billing while supporting water conservation.
Staff will knock on doors to request access to spigots or hose bibs that may be unreachable, and a small amount of water will be flushed to ensure meters are working properly. Customers are asked not to use water within their homes during the test.
