Verisk Appoints Prarthna Kapur to Lead Verisk Maplecroft

JERSEY CITY, N.J., August 27, 2026 - Verisk (Nasdaq: VRSK), a leading strategic data analytics and technology partner to the global insurance industry, today announced that Prarthna Kapur has been promoted to senior vice president and will lead Verisk Maplecroft, the company's global risk analytics unit specializing in sustainability and political risk intelligence.

Kapur will report to Rob Newbold, president of Verisk Catastrophe and Risk Solutions.

About Kapur

Kapur joined Verisk nearly four years ago and most recently served as head of product for Verisk Maplecroft. In that role, she has helped advance Maplecroft's product strategy and strengthen how the business serves clients facing increasingly complex global risks.

She has more than 16 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence operations, quantitative analysis and financial market insight at companies including Moody's Analytics and AllianceBernstein. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has experience translating complex economic, quantitative and market information into practical insight for executive and client decision-making.
