Lane closure scheduled on I-70 in Lafayette County for urgent guardrail repair, Oct. 4

LAFAYETTE COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be closing the left lane on Interstate 70 eastbound from the Routes O and M interchange (mile marker 41) to the weigh station exit ramp (mile marker 42) on Saturday, Oct. 4, from approximately 7 a.m. until 10 a.m., for urgent guardrail device repair work. Drivers should expect delays. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
