Chinese Ambassador to Dominica Chu Maoming Attends Netball Match in Portsmouth

H.E. Chu Maoming, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Dominica attended the Northern Netball Tournament hosted by Hon. Fenella Wenham-Sheppard, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Human Resource Planning, Vocational Training and National Excellence, in Portsmouth on December 7. 

Ambassador Chu commended the players for their vitality and team spirit. Together with Hon. Wenham-Sheppard, he cheered on the competitors and engaged in warm, friendly conversations with the youth participants and local residents.

Hon. Wenham-Sheppard expressed her appreciation for China's longstanding support for sports and youth development in Dominica. She noted that the event, centered around sports, vividly reflected the profound friendship between the two peoples and contributed to stronger public support for bilateral relations between Dominica and China.
