Concord Hospital Trust Golf Invitational Raises $154,000 to Expand Patient Care Capacity

Concord Hospital Trust welcomed 137 golfers to Concord Country Club on Monday, August 10, for its annual Concord Hospital Golf Invitational. The sold-out event raised $154,000 to support the expansion of ambulatory beds at Concord Hospital.

The annual event brought together community members, local businesses, sponsors, and supporters for a day of golf and philanthropy. Participants competed in a four-person scramble, along with "Closest to the Pin" and "Longest Drive" competitions, before gathering for a reception and awards following play.

Proceeds from this year's invitational will help expand ambulatory bed capacity at Concord Hospital, increasing the hospital's ability to provide outpatient and cardiovascular care and helping more patients receive timely care.

"The Golf Invitational is a wonderful example of what can happen when our community comes together around a shared purpose," said Director of Development for Concord Hospital Trust, Kimber Carr. "We are incredibly grateful to our Benefactor Circle Members, Presenting Sponsor Daymark Solutions, Inc., our event sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this event such a success. Their generosity is helping support the expansion of ambulatory beds within Concord Hospital's Cardiovascular Institute, expanding access to advanced cardiovascular care and helping us serve more patients throughout our region."

The Concord Hospital Golf Invitational is one of several annual fundraising events hosted by Concord Hospital Trust to connect community generosity with programs, services, and improvements that directly benefit patients and families.

"While the Golf Invitational brings people together for a wonderful day on the course, the impact reaches far beyond the event itself," Carr added. "This year, our community has helped raise more than $150,000 to support the ambulatory bed expansion. These funds will help create additional capacity, improve patient flow, and strengthen the care and recovery experience for patients and families. That is what makes this event so meaningful year after year; the generosity of our community is helping make a real difference in the care available right here in New Hampshire."
