Highlights from the Data Symposium 2025

Greenberg Traurig's Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice recently hosted its 2025 Data Privacy Symposium in our new Chicago office in the vibrant Fulton Market neighborhood.

The CLE symposium brought together more than 100 attendees, including clients and friends of the firm, for two days of highly engaged discussion on the evolving challenges in data privacy, cybersecurity, and technology.

GT speakers included Darren Abernethy, Reena Bajowala, Ian Ballon, Liz Harding, Rocio Olea Salgado, Greg Ostfeld, Gretchen A. Ramos, Kevin Scott, Jena Valdetero, David Zetoony, Sherry Xiaoxuan Ding, Andrea Maciejewski, and Arda Goker.

Sessions covered a wide range of pressing topics - from AdTech compliance and AI initiatives to breach response, international data law updates, privacy litigation trends, and U.S. privacy laws - providing a meaningful forum for practical, real-world perspectives.

The firm also hosted a lively cocktail reception and dinner at Adalina Prime, where attendees enjoyed a relaxed setting to network and celebrate their shared commitment to advancing privacy and cybersecurity practices.

Thanks to all who attended! We hope you made meaningful connections and left the symposium energized and inspired for the evolving challenges ahead!
