Senator holding nine in-person conversations in Malheur, Harney, Grant, Baker, Wallowa, Union, Umatilla, Morrow, and Wheeler counties
Baker City, OR - Oregon's U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley announced he will hold nine in-person community conversations for Oregonians across eastern Oregon counties between Friday, May 1 and Sunday, May 3.
The nine rescheduled events continue Merkley's 2026 town hall tour of Oregon, where he will hold a community conversation in each of the state's 36 counties.
"I'm looking forward to again visiting wonderful communities all over our state. By talking directly to folks in each county my team and I can go to work for the interests and needs most important in each corner of our state," Merkley said.
Since taking office in 2009, Senator Merkley has kept his promise to hold an open town hall for each of Oregon's 36 counties every year - more than 630 to date.
