U.S. Chamber Endorses Rep. Jen Kiggans for Virginia's Second Congressional District During National Free Enterprise Express Opportunity Tour

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Rep. Jen Kiggans for Virginia's Second Congressional District during a free enterprise event at iFLY Virginia Beach, an indoor skydiving business that supports STEM education and military training programs. The event was a stop on the Chamber's Free Enterprise Express Opportunity Tour, a national six-week bus tour promoting free enterprise.

U.S. Chamber representatives Tom Sullivan, Senior Vice President of Small Business Policy; Moore Hallmark, Vice President and Managing Director of Regional Government Affairs; and Bob Pizzini, Owner of iFLY Virginia Beach and former Chair of the Hampton Roads Chamber, presented Rep. Kiggans with the Chamber's Advocate for American Business Award, recognizing her support for policies that defend free enterprise and her work toward solutions that help lower costs for consumers.

"Jen Kiggans has earned the U.S. Chamber's endorsement for her commitment to policies that strengthen Virginia's economy and expand opportunity for workers and businesses," said Sullivan. "At a time when businesses and consumers continue to face economic pressures, Rep. Kiggans has been a strong advocate for free enterprise and practical solutions that help lower costs and keep America competitive. We look forward to continuing to work with her in the next Congress."

The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.

The national Free Enterprise Express Opportunity Tour is a six-week trip through 20 states and more than 50 events to make the case for free enterprise in communities across America and push back against growing support for government-directed economic policies that threaten economic freedom, opportunity, innovation, and growth.

The effort is part of a broader Chamber initiative, the New Fight for Free Enterprise, a multi-year effort to organize, mobilize, and make the case for free enterprise everywhere public opinion is shaped, public policy is made, and future generations learn what it takes for people and communities to thrive.
