This year's theme award, titled ESG AI Excellence Award, has been chosen to underscore the pivotal role of artificial intelligence in shaping sustainable business practices, honoring the listed companies that leverage AI to advance ESG practices and reporting, while demonstrating sound AI governance and a firm commitment to ethical standards. The Group was specifically recognized by the judging panel for its application of AI technology to enhance intelligent driving safety and support low-carbon R&D. The Group's independently developed centralized millimeter-wave radar AI perception algorithm solution enhances perception accuracy and functional safety in complex road environments through multi-task learning models, thereby helping to reduce traffic accident risks and improve public safety. Concurrently, during the R&D of its automated driving systems, the Group has adopted AI-driven simulation testing technology. By replacing certain physical vehicle tests with highly realistic virtual environments, the Group has significantly reduced test mileage and energy consumption, thereby lowering its R&D carbon footprint. Furthermore, the Group has established an AI ethics framework built upon six core principles: transparency, fairness, accountability, reliability, privacy, and security. An ESG Committee at the Board level oversees the associated risk management to ensure that all AI applications align with the principles of responsible and sustainable development.
