Tooley Presented at Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute Webinar

On Jan. 16, Taft's Ben Tooley co-led a webinar on fiscal policy and state budgeting on behalf of the Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute. The webinar included a detailed overview of the State of Indiana's biennial budgeting process.

Tooley is a senior director of public policy in Taft's Public Affairs Strategies Group. Prior to joining Taft, he spent nearly two decades serving as a trusted fiscal policy advisor to the elected leadership of the Republican Caucus of the Indiana House of Representatives. Tooley was also the lead legislative staffer responsible for the development of eight state biennial budgets, including the most recent $46 billion state budget enacted in April 2025.
