Delmarva Power has proposed enhancements to its existing energy efficiency programs that will expand energy- and money-saving tools for its Delaware customers. In a proposal filed with the Delaware Public Service Commission (PSC), the company outlined its plan to provide customers with no-cost energy assessments, incentives for energy efficiency upgrades, and a variety of offerings to help customers reduce their energy use and manage their monthly energy bills.
In total, Delmarva Power's proposed programs are expected to deliver more than 66,000 megawatt-hours (MWh) of annual electric savings and approximately 110,000 MMBtu of annual natural gas savings over the three-year program period from 2027 to 2029. The proposed portfolio builds on existing energy efficiency programs while expanding offerings to increase participation and customer savings opportunities. The existing portfolio of programs was established for 2024 to 2026. The company developed the proposed programs through a collaborative process and received approval from the Delaware Energy Efficiency Advisory Council to proceed with filing the proposed programs.
