He discussed Roy Cooper's abandonment of our Border Patrol agents and support of Joe Biden's open border policies that allowed millions of illegal immigrants to flood into our country. Whatley also discussed this strong support of our military and support of North Carolina continuing to serve as a key military hub for our nation. "Protecting our people is my highest priority - but Roy Cooper has always put his radical agenda first. He made North Carolina a sanctuary state and welcomed in more than 500,000 illegal aliens. He said he would not fund the Department of Homeland Security. He let thousands of criminals out of prison and back into our communities. North Carolina will never be safe with Roy Cooper in the Senate.
