June 8, 2026 - Today, Johnson & Johnson announced an opportunity inviting global innovators to submit ideas for novel, differentiated technologies with the potential to deliver superior safety and efficacy in the treatment of solid tumors.
There are an estimated 20 million cancer diagnoses globally each year1 with solid tumors accounting for more than 90% of all new cases.2 Despite advances in the prevention and treatment of different types of cancers, solid tumors continue to pose significant challenges to treatment efficacy given their resistance to therapy, tumor heterogeneity, and the complexity of the tumor microenvironment.3 The current treatment landscape for solid tumors, including Lung, Head & Neck, Bladder, Gastrointestinal, and Colorectal cancers, offers potential new pathways to precisely target these tumors and hinder their progression with the aim to improve patient outcomes.4,5,6
Select finalists will have the opportunity to present their science to Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Oncology leaders in a closed-door session during the World Conference on Lung Cancer in Seoul, South Korea, during the week of September 12-15, 2026. Finalists who cannot attend in person may have the opportunity to participate in a virtual presentation with J&J leadership in early September 2026.
Applications will be accepted through July 1, 2026 at https://app.in-part.com/campaigns/qAMrlNbWW4byg5Kx
