On March 9, 2026, shortly after 7:30 p.m., Central District General Patrol officers arrested two occupants of a stolen vehicle found idling in the rear lane in the 900 block of Dominion Street. The vehicle, a 2020 Hyundai Elantra, was reported stolen earlier in the month from the 900 block of Main Street.

Officers conducting proactive patrols in the area located the male driver and female passenger sitting in the idling stolen vehicle and placed them under arrest before searching the vehicle. A search of the passenger produced small quantities of Methamphetamine, Fentanyl and Crack Cocaine. Officers also located and seized a loaded sawed-off .22 calibre bolt action rifle, and 2 x .22 calibre rounds of ammunition within her property.

Drew Sara LEASK, (27), is charged with multiple firearm-related and drug trafficking offences. She was detained in custody.

The 30-year-old driver faces a charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 and was released on an Undertaking.
